I experimented with some of my fancy machine stitches too on the clam shell and the anemones and it was very effective. It is rather addictive once you get your confidence with the method. I have to say that I had never done...Welcome Sandi!<br />I have to say that I had never done raw edge either and I am no great expert on Free Motion Quilting - and my blocks are far from perfect...but unless you want to get up really close then its the impression that counts...and believe me - you will get better the more of it you do. I was lucky in that I stitched all my blocks over a period of a couple of days - on retreat - so I think that helped build the "rhythm" - a bit like when you do quilting.<br />I see you have one block from the quilt Bea is doing...it will be fun to see how your colours are different/the same...<br />Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09240985402610409417noreply@blogger.com
